The Caney Valley Trojans basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting Copan Hornets to 25 in the Trojans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Trojans now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cleveland for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Caney Valley will battle a Tigers team coming off a 63-23 non-league win over Liberty (Mounds, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 4-9.
The Hornets (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Mounds, OK). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Liberty dropped by Cleveland (Cleveland, OK), 63-23, in a non-league contest.
