In Thursday's non-league outing, the Pearl River Rebels (Pearl River, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA), by a count of 43-22.
The Rebels (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against Loranger (Loranger, LA). The Wolves go into the 4A District 8 outing with a 4-14 record. In their last outing, Loranger was crushed by Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA), 56-53, in a league outing.
The Redhawks now hold a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Baker for a non-league outing on Friday, January 19.
