In Thursday's non-league match, the host Keys Cougars basketball team scored a tight 38-35 triumph over the Checotah Wildcats.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Muldrow Bulldogs (Muldrow, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 19. Keys will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 10-4 record after their 45-30 league win over Poteau (Poteau, OK).
With the defeat, Checotah moves to 2-10 on the year. The Wildcats host Stilwell (Stilwell, OK) to meet the Indians in a NOAA match on Tuesday, January 23. The Indians enter the match with a record of 12-3. Stilwell lost 52-46 in their recent non-league match against Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK)
