The Chiefland Indians basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Riverside Christian Wranglers to 13 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dixie County for a 1A District 7 contest on Friday, January 19. Chiefland will battle a Bears team coming off a 50-20 non-league win over Countryside Christian (Gainesville, FL). The Bears record now stands at 7-4.

The Wranglers (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Foundation Christian Academy (Valrico, FL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Foundation Christian Academy triumphed over American Youth Academy (Tampa, FL), 44-3, in a non-league contest.
