In Thursday's non-league outing, the Eastside Ghosts (Paterson, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ), by a count of 59-35.
The Ghosts (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 5-9 record. In their last outing, Lincoln was crushed by Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ), 52-22, in a non-league outing.
The Comets now hold a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Northern Highlands for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. Hackensack will play a Highlanders squad coming off a 45-44 non-league win over Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-3.
