The Gateway Regional Gators basketball team (Woodbury Heights, NJ), was nudged 33-29 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting West Deptford Eagles (Westville, NJ)

The Eagles now possess a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atlantic County Institute of Tech for a non-league battle on Friday, January 19.

The Gators (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Woodbury (Woodbury, NJ). The Thundering Herd come into the Colonial battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Woodbury edged Lower Cape May (Cape May, NJ), 51-37, in a non-league battle.
