Illinois High School Basketball - Momence tops Grace Christian Academy

Momence Momence Athletics (Momence, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Grace Christian Academy Crusaders (Kankakee, IL), 51-38 in a league bout.
With the victory, Momence upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Momence Athletics travel to Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL) to play the Panthers in a River Valley bout on Monday, January 22. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 15-6. Gardner-South Wilmington won 56-27 in their recent league battle against Donovan/St. Anne (Donovan, IL)
The Crusaders (8-14) will now prepare for their battle against Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL). The Chargers come into the River Valley battle with a 2-12 record. In their last battle, Illinois Lutheran was toppled by Clifton Central (Clifton, IL), 57-18, in a league battle.
