Lena Wildcats (Lena, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Gresham Community Wildcats (Gresham, WI), 54-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lena upgrades its record to 13-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Florence (Florence, WI) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Florence won 45-34 in their recent non-league bout against Niagara (Niagara, WI)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Northland Lutheran Wildcats (Mosinee, WI) in a Central Wisconsin - North bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Gresham Community will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record.
