Florida High School Basketball - Gulf knocked off by Nature Coast Tech

January 18, 2024: New Port Richey, FL 34652

The Nature Coast Tech Sharks basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Gulf Buccaneers to 26 in the Sharks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Sharks now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springstead for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Nature Coast Tech will battle a Eagles team coming off a 30-18 non-league win over Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 14-3.

The Buccaneers (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL). The Royal Knights enter the 5A District 6 contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, River Ridge ran past Fivay (Hudson, FL), 64-25, in a league contest.
