The Williams Valley Vikings basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Mahanoy Area Golden Bears to 20 in the Vikings non-league victory on Thursday.
The Vikings now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Grove for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Williams Valley will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 47-35 league loss to Panther Valley (Lansford, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-6.
The Golden Bears (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Weatherly (Weatherly, PA). The come into the Schuylkill County 3 contest with a 1-11 record.
