The Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Normal University Pioneers to 47 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenwood for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Mahomet-Seymour will battle a Titans team coming off a 43-40 non-league win over Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL). The Titans record now stands at 15-5.

The Pioneers (6-18) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL). The Spartans come into the Central State Eight contest with a 9-14 record. In their last contest, Springfield Southeast edged Lanphier (Springfield, IL), 47-31, in a non-league contest.
