The Maranacook Black Bears basketball team scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Winthrop Ramblers to 32 in the Black Bears non-league victory on Thursday.

The Black Bears now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Maranacook will battle a Falcons team coming off a 63-7 league win over Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME). The Falcons record now stands at 4-6.

The Ramblers (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME). The Mustangs come into the C South contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Monmouth Academy was nudged by Madison (Madison, ME), 57-35, in a league contest.
