Montgomery County Wildcats (Montgomery City, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wright City Wildcats (Wright City, MO), 82-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Montgomery County upgrades its record to 15-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to New Haven (New Haven, MO) to play the Shamrocks in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Shamrocks go into the bout with a record of 6-6. New Haven won 27-20 in their recent non-league bout against St. Francis Borgia (Washington, MO)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Christian Fellowship (Columbia, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Wright City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 43-40 non-league loss to Sunnydale Academy (Centralia, MO).
