Southwest Covenant Patriots (Yukon, OK) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Okeene Whippets (Okeene, OK), 43-16 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Southwest Covenant upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Okarche (Okarche, OK) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 9-7. Okarche won 68-24 in their recent league bout against Crescent (Crescent, OK)

Next up, the Whippets play the Crescent Tigers (Crescent, OK) in a Three Rivers bout, on Friday, January 19. Okeene will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 68-24 league loss to Okarche (Okarche, OK).
