With the victory, Southern Lab improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Kittens travel to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA) to play the Green Wave in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Green Wave come into the challenge with a record of 16-10. Ponchatoula won 60-20 in their recent league challenge against Covington (Covington, LA)

Next up, the Knights play the Holden Rockets (Holden, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Slaughter Community Charter will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 67-56 non-league loss to Springfield (Springfield, LA).
