Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Webster Groves Statesmen (Webster Groves, MO) and the visiting Willard Tigers (Willard, MO), saw Webster Groves's basketball squad knock off Willard by a tally of 55-43.
With the victory, Webster Groves improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Statesmen travel to Kickapoo (Springfield, MO) to play the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Kickapoo won 71-33 in their recent league challenge against Waynesville (Waynesville, MO)
Next up, the Tigers play the Pittsburg Dragons (Pittsburg, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Willard will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 40-26 non-league loss to Labette County (Altamont, KS).
