The Zachary Broncos basketball team scored 77 points and held the host White Castle Bulldogs to 57 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Broncos now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walker for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Zachary will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 68-34 non-league win over Hicks (Leesville, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 27-1.
The Bulldogs (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Bulldogs enter the 1A District 8 contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Ascension Catholic was defeated by Live Oak (Watson, LA), 56-31, in a non-league contest.
