Colorado High School Basketball - Gilpin County overwhelmed by Denver Academy

The Denver Academy Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Gilpin County Eagles to 24 in the Mustangs league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dayspring Christian Academy for a contest on Friday, January 19. Denver Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 38-26 non-league loss to Front Range Baptist (Fort Collins, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.

The Eagles (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO). The Golddiggers come into the contest with a 2-7 record.
