South Dakota High School Basketball - Alcester-Hudson knocks off Scotland/Menno

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD) and the host Scotland/Menno Trappers (Menno, SD), observed Alcester-Hudson's basketball team overcome Scotland/Menno by a margin of 54-43.

The Cubs (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Garretson (Garretson, SD). The Blue Dragons come into the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Garretson defeated Colman-Egan (Colman, SD), 52-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trappers battle the Bridgewater/Emery Huskies (Emery, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. Scotland/Menno will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 54-39 league win over Canistota (Canistota, SD).
