The Genesee Valley Jaguars basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Arkport Central Bluejays to 65 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Jaguars now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Arkport Central/Canaseraga for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Genesee Valley will confront a Wolves team coming off a 74-16 non-league win over Alfred-Almond (Almond, NY). The Wolves record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Arkport Central falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Jasper-Troupsburg (Jasper, NY) to confront the Wildcats in a Section 5 Steuben - II game on Tuesday, January 21. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 5-7. Jasper-Troupsburg lost 48-30 in their recent non-league game against Canisteo-Greenwood (Canisteo, NY)
