Georgia High School Basketball - Towers crushes Banneker

The Towers Titans (Decatur, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA), 93-50 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Titans now possess a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Atlanta Christian for a A D1 Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Towers will play a Warriors team coming off a 66-54 non-league win over Notre Dame Academy (Duluth, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-15.

With the loss, Banneker falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Trojans host McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA) to play the Chiefs in a AAAAA Region 3 bout on Wednesday, January 22. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 6-12. McIntosh won 53-49 in their recent league bout against Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA)
