The Bassick Lions basketball squad (Bridgeport, CT), was crushed 78-51 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT)
With the victory, Masuk advances its record to 5-2 on the year. The Panthers host Bethel (Bethel, CT) to meet the Wildcats in a Southwest battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 4-4. Bethel won 65-46 in their recent league battle against Joel Barlow (Redding, CT)
The Lions now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trumbull for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 22.
