In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Berea Pirates basketball team scored a good 88-68 win over the Bishop Brossart Mustangs.
The Pirates (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Southwestern (Somerset, KY). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Southwestern was topped by Russell County (Russell Springs, KY), 79-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Louisville Collegiate Amazons & Titans (Louisville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Bishop Brossart will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Amazons & Titans come into the contest with a 2-12 record after their 73-52 non-league loss to Doss (Louisville, KY).
