Virginia High School Basketball - Bethel Academy victorious over Loyola Blakefield

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Bethel Academy Blazers basketball team scored a good 73-54 triumph over the Loyola Blakefield Dons.

The Blazers (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Prince George's Christian Academy (Landover, MD). The Flyers go into the non-league contest with a 15-9 record. In their last contest, Prince George's Christian Academy was topped by Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA), 64-57, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Dons battle the Glenelg Country Dragons (Ellicott City, MD) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Loyola Blakefield will attempt to better on its 12-11 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 53-41 non-league win over Trinity (Camp Hill, PA).
