The Bishop Watterson Eagles (Columbus, OH) basketball were winner over the visiting Ponitz Career Tech Golden Panthers (Dayton, OH), 58-39 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Licking Heights for a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. Bishop Watterson will play a Hornets team coming off a 50-48 league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 9-4.
