Maine High School Basketball - Boothbay knocks off Maranacook

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Boothbay Seahawks basketball team scored a good 60-52 win over the Maranacook Black Bears.
The Seahawks (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME). The Saints come into the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, St. Dominic defeated Traip (Kittery, ME), 55-27, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Black Bears battle the Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Maranacook will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 3-13 record after their 69-46 non-league loss to Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME).
