The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Camas Valley Hornets (Camas Valley, OR) and the visiting Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR), observed Camas Valley's basketball team overwhelm Powers by a score of 66-39.

The Hornets (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Yoncalla (Yoncalla, OR). The Eagles come into the 1A Skyline challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Yoncalla was routed by North Douglas (Drain, OR), 77-37, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cruisers encounter the New Hope Christian Warriors (Grants Pass, OR) in a 1A Skyline challenge, on Friday, January 24. Powers will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 58-39 league loss to Days Creek (Days Creek, OR).
