The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME) and the visiting Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME), observed Caribou's basketball team knock off Hermon by a score of 73-56.

The Vikings (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Houlton (Houlton, ME). The Shiretowners come into the B North challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Houlton was knocked off by Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), 66-49, in a league bout.

With the loss, Hermon falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Hawks host Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME) to play the Trojans in a B North bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Mount Desert Island won 62-56 in their recent league bout against Old Town (Old Town, ME)
