Maryland High School Basketball - Wicomico routs Chincoteague

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Wicomico Indians basketball team scored a big 81-34 triumph over the Chincoteague Ponies.

The Indians (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Snow Hill (Snow Hill, MD). The Eagles go into the Bayside - South contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Snow Hill smashed Pocomoke (Pocomoke, MD), 86-54, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Ponies battle the Broadwater Academy Vikings (Exmore, VA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Chincoteague will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 75-26 league loss to Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA).
