The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Clarion Area Bobcats (Clarion, PA) and the visiting General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA), observed Clarion Area's basketball team overcome General McLane by a margin of 63-51.

The Bobcats (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Keystone (Knox, PA). The Panthers come into the Keystone Shortway challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Keystone defeated Union (Rimersburg, PA), 70-57, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lancers battle the Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA) in a District 10 Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. General McLane will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 68-50 non-league win over Fairview (Fairview, PA).
