In Saturday's non-league test, the Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD) basketball squad trounced the visiting McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD), by a score of 90-35.
Next, the Chieftains encounter the Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD) in a A Region 6 test, on Tuesday, January 21. Crow Creek will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Rustlers come into the test with a 5-4 record after their 60-52 non-league win over Sully Buttes (Onida, SD).
The Mustangs (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Dupree (Dupree, SD). The Tigers come into the B Region 8 test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Dupree was routed by Lemmon (Lemmon, SD), 58-43, in a league test.
