California High School Basketball - Deer Valley nips Ferndale

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Deer Valley Wolverines basketball team scored a close 52-48 triumph over the Ferndale Wildcats.
The Wolverines (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Freedom (Oakley, CA). The Falcons go into the Bay Valley contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Freedom nipped Napa (Napa, CA), 57-52, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Summit Tamalpais Timberwolves (Richmond, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Ferndale will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Timberwolves go into the contest with a 0-8 record after their 71-23 non-league loss to Leadership Public Schools Richmond (Richmond, CA).
