In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Elizabeth Vikings basketball team scored a close 50-48 win over the Dover Senators.
The Vikings (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against William Penn (New Castle, DE). The Colonials come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, William Penn was tipped by Sanford (Hockessin, DE), 67-65, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Senators battle the Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) in a Henlopen - Northern contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Dover will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 58-44 non-league loss to Caravel (Bear, DE).
