In Saturday's non-league test, the Dulce Hawks (Dulce, NM) basketball squad trounced the host Monte Del Sol Charter Dragons (Santa Fe, NM), by a score of 59-18.

Next, the Hawks encounter the Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM) in a 2A District 1 test, on Thursday, January 23. Dulce will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record.

The Dragons (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles come into the 2A District 2 test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy was routed by Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM), 53-42, in a non-league test.
