The Northwest Indians (Canal Fulton, OH) basketball were winner over the host East Tigers (Columbus, OH), 73-61 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Indians now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Manchester for a Principals bout on Friday, January 24. Northwest will play a Panthers team coming off a 71-68 league win over Orrville (Orrville, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, East falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Centennial (Columbus, OH) to play the Stars in a Columbus City - North outing on Tuesday, January 21. The Stars come into the outing with a record of 11-3. Centennial won 55-49 in their recent league outing against Beechcroft (Columbus, OH)
