The Pettisville Blackbirds nipped the visiting Evergreen Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 42-41 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Blackbirds face the Edon Bombers (Edon, OH) in a Buckeye Border outing, on Friday, January 24. Pettisville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record.

The Vikings (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Northwood (Northwood, OH). The Rangers enter the non-league outing with a 1-12 record. In their last outing, Northwood was nipped by Toledo Christian (Toledo, OH), 61-23, in a league outing.
