Nebraska High School Basketball - Garden County sneaks past Wauneta-Palisade

The Garden County Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Wauneta-Palisade Broncos to 48 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sedgwick County for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Garden County will play a Cougars team coming off a 55-41 league win over Caliche (Iliff, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Wauneta-Palisade falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Cambridge (Cambridge, NE) to play the Trojans in a D1 District 12 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 7-6. Cambridge won 65-39 in their recent non-league game against Maxwell (Maxwell, NE)
