New York High School Basketball - Hammond Central nips Lyme Central

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Hammond Central Red Devils basketball team scored a close 54-53 triumph over the Lyme Central Lakers.
The Red Devils (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Harrisville (Harrisville, NY). The Pirates go into the Section 10 West contest with a 10-3 record.
In their next game, the Lakers battle the Alexandria Central Purple Ghosts (Alexandria Bay, NY) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Lyme Central will attempt to better on its 2-12 season record. The Purple Ghosts go into the contest with a 3-9 record after their 58-37 league loss to Sandy Creek (Sandy Creek, NY).
