Nebraska High School Basketball - Hitchcock County overwhelms Sutherland

The Hitchcock County Falcons basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Sutherland Sailors to 19 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Falcons now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Paxton for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Hitchcock County will play a Tigers team coming off a 56-49 non-league loss to Wallace (Wallace, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Sutherland falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Sailors travel to Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE) to play the Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 6-6. Medicine Valley won 49-31 in their recent non-league game against Mullen (Mullen, NE)
