Illinois High School Basketball - Waubonsie Valley victorious over Jefferson

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors basketball team scored a good 65-51 triumph over the Jefferson J-Hawks.
The Warriors (20-0) will now prepare for their contest against Normal Community (Normal, IL). The Ironmen go into the non-league contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Normal Community topped Centennial (Champaign, IL), 41-30, in a league contest.
In their next game, the J-Hawks confront the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Jefferson will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Storm go into the contest with a 6-13 record after their 41-27 league win over Elgin (Elgin, IL).
