The Lake Stevens Vikings basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Sumner Spartans to 58 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now have a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Kamiak for a 4A Wesco game on Tuesday, January 21. Lake Stevens will confront a Knights team coming off a 58-56 league loss to Cascade (Everett, WA). The Knights record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Sumner falls to 12-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Puyallup (Puyallup, WA) to confront the Vikings in a 4A South Puget Sound - North game on Wednesday, January 22. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 14-3. Puyallup won 65-56 in their recent non-league game against Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA)
