The Laporte Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Mishawaka Cavemen to 58 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Red Lake for a A Section 8 game on Tuesday, January 21. Laporte will confront a Warriors team coming off a 78-35 league loss to Nevis (Nevis, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Mishawaka falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Cavemen travel to La Porte (La Porte, IN) to confront the Slicers in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Slicers go into the game with a record of 9-4. La Porte won 65-60 in their recent league game against Lake Central (St. John, IN)
