In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Wayne Trace Raiders basketball team scored a close 47-43 triumph over the Liberty Center Tigers.

The Raiders (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Tinora (Defiance, OH). The Rams go into the Green Meadows contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Tinora nipped Stryker (Stryker, OH), 45-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Cardinal Stritch Cardinals (Oregon, OH) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Liberty Center will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 2-12 record after their 53-32 league loss to Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH).
