The Winthrop Ramblers basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Madison Bulldogs to 46 in the Ramblers league triumph on Saturday.

The Ramblers now have a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Traip for a C South game on Monday, January 20. Winthrop will confront a Rangers team coming off a 55-27 non-league loss to St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME). The Rangers record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Madison falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME) to confront the Seagulls in a C South game on Monday, January 20. The Seagulls go into the game with a record of 5-7. Old Orchard Beach won 59-58 in their recent league game against Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME)
