The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the New Salem Holsteins (New Salem, ND) and the visiting Mandaree Warriors (Mandaree, ND), observed New Salem's basketball team overwhelm Mandaree by a score of 82-26.

The Holsteins (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Standing Rock (Fort Yates, ND). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Standing Rock trounced Nedrose (Minot, ND), 77-68, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Center-Stanton Wildcats (Center, ND) in a B District 8 challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Mandaree will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record.
