The North Central Thunderbirds basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Vincennes Rivet Patriots to 48 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Thunderbirds now have a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Riverton Parke for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. North Central will confront a Panthers team coming off a 80-40 non-league loss to Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Vincennes Rivet falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Patriots host Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN) to confront the Jeeps in a Blue Chip game on Friday, January 24. The Jeeps go into the game with a record of 6-4. Northeast Dubois lost 64-55 in their recent non-league game against South Webster (South Webster, OH)
