Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Pottsville holds off Palmyra

The Pottsville Crimson Tide basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Palmyra Cougars to 56 in the Crimson Tide non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Crimson Tide now have a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Minersville for a Schuylkill County 1 game on Tuesday, January 21. Pottsville will confront a Battlin' Miners team coming off a 73-37 non-league win over Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA). The Battlin' Miners record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Palmyra falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Penn Manor (Millersville, PA) to confront the Comets in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Comets go into the game with a record of 9-4. Penn Manor won 63-51 in their recent non-league game against Lebanon (Lebanon, PA)
