    • Virginia High School Basketball - Paul VI holds off St. John Bosco

    January 18, 2025: Chantilly, VA 22030

    The Paul VI Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting St. John Bosco Braves to 57 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

    The Panthers now have a 13-3 record. They play next when they host DeMatha for a Washington Catholic game on Tuesday, January 21. Paul VI will confront a Stags team coming off a 63-40 non-league win over Whitney Young (Chicago, IL). The Stags record now stands at 13-3.

    With the loss, St. John Bosco falls to 18-3 on the campaign. The Braves host JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to confront the Lions in a Trinity game on Monday, January 20. The Lions go into the game with a record of 17-4. JSerra Catholic won 60-52 in their recent league game against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA)
