North Carolina High School Basketball - The Burlington School can't hold off Wesleyan Christian Academy

Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host The Burlington School Spartans (Burlington, NC), 55-52 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Wesleyan Christian Academy upgrades its record to 15-7 on the year. The Trojans travel to Westchester Country Day (High Point, NC) to face the Wildcats in a NCISAA Piedmont match on Tuesday, January 21. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 4-8. Westchester Country Day lost 69-28 in their recent league match against Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC)

The Spartans now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garner for a non-league match on Monday, January 20. The Burlington School will face a Trojans squad coming off a 65-53 non-league win over Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 12-2.
