The Union Grove Christian Patriots basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Veritas Christian Academy Warriors to 52 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Patriots now possess a 19-4 record. They play next when they travel to Tabernacle Christian for a NCCSA AA West Region 1 game on Monday, January 20. Union Grove Christian will confront a Conquerors team coming off a 52-34 non-league loss to Temple Baptist Academy (Powell, TN). The Conquerors record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, Veritas Christian Academy falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Nebo Crossing Academy (Nebo, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a Western Piedmont game on Tuesday, January 21. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 0-8. Nebo Crossing Academy lost 47-34 in their recent non-league game against Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC)
